Story

Hi there,

I have decided to make a difference by taking part in The Color Run and raising money for Breast Cancer Care WA, a charity that has provided so much support to me during my fight with breast cancer.

Please support my efforts by making a secure online donation and a message of support.

I would also really appreciate it if you could 'Like' and share my page above or comment below so more people know about it.

Click 'Donate Now' to make a secure online donation and help me reach my target. I would welcome any contribution, great or small, that you could make!

Thanks so much for your support!

Mandi xx

Breast Cancer Care WA Inc

Breast Cancer Care WA provides personalised support and care for those affected by breast cancer. One in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer by the age of 85.

Every person will have a unique experience with breast cancer, and we aim to provide services that will lighten the challenges not only for those diagnosed, but also for their family and carers.
Some of the services we offer are:
• Emotional Support through our Breast Care Nurse, Counsellor, Support Groups and from those who have been through similar experiences.
• Financial Aid for those experiencing hardship during treatment, such as extra childcare costs, costs of prostheses and mastectomy garments, accommodation and travel costs for those from rural areas who travel for treatment.
• Practical Assistance such as help with basic living needs following surgery and/or treatment.
• Breast Awareness Education through a range of resources including our Breast Awareness Learning Resource which is available to high schools across Australia.

Thanks to the generosity of the WA community, Breast Cancer Care WA is able to offer these and other services at no charge. We do not receive any recurrent Government Funding.

Thank you
